Zalman launches the ZM-K610 65% keyboard with hot-swappable switches

You most likely know Zalman for its cases, CPU coolers and power supplies, but the company also has its own line of peripherals. This week, the company is launching its latest mechanical keyboard and better yet, it features hot-swappable switches, so you can customise your typing experience.

Available in grey/white and blue/white, the Zalman ZM-K610 is a new wireless mechanical keyboard with a compact 65% form factor and 68 keys. Developed for both work and gaming, you can choose between Gateron G Pro Yellow (pre-lubed), Brown, or Red switches, all with individual RGB LED illumination. However, due to its hot-swappable PCB, you can replace the switches whenever you want to.

Between the PCB and the switches, the ZM-K610 features a plate for added stability and sound-absorbing foam to reduce noise when clicking on the keys. Moreover, the keyboard also features pre-lubed cherry-style stabilizers, PBT keycaps and a 3,000mAh battery that can last for up to 73 hours with RGB off.

For connectivity, the keyboard offers wireless via Bluetooth and a dedicated 2.4GHz dongle, or you can use the included USB-C cable, which you'll also need to charge the keyboard. Note that polling rate and response times change depending on the connectivity method. When connected via cable or wireless dongle, the keyboard has a 1000Hz polling rate and a 1ms response time. Using Bluetooth, the polling rate reduces to 125Hz, and the response time increases to 8ms.
