Thermaltake launches Argent K6 RGB low-profile mechanical keyboard with Cherry switches

Thermaltake is expanding its peripheral portfolio with the Argent K6 RGB low-profile mechanical keyboard. Winner of the 2022 Reddot Design Award, TT's new mechanical keyboard comes with Cherry MX low-profile RGB Speed Silver or low profile RGB Red switches.

The new Argent K6 RGB keyboard features an aluminium top plate with an asymmetrical curvature and a floating keycap design. Each key has individual TT RGB Plus-compatible RGB lighting (16.8 million colours) that can be customised via iTAKE Engine Software. For increased comfort while using the keyboard, Thermaltake has included a magnetic wrist rest.

Regardless of the type of switch you choose, both are rated to withstand 100-million keystrokes, which should be enough to endure a few years in your hands. Besides allowing you to control the volume, the multi-function knob on the top-right corner also lets you change between webpages. For other functions, you can configure it through the TT's software.

Backed by a 2-year warranty, the Argent K6 low-profile RGB Cherry MX Speed Silver version and low-profile RGB Cherry MX Red version are now available for $199.99.

KitGuru says: If you're looking for a new low-profile mechanical keyboard, it might be worth looking at the Argent K6 RGB. Would you prefer the Cherry MX Speed Silver switches or Cherry MX Red?
