Sharkoon’s new mechanical gaming keyboard is perfect for those on a budget

Sharkoon has recently announced the new Skiller SGK20 mechanical gaming keyboard. Combining a good feature set with an affordable price tag, the Sharkoon SGK20 has everything you need from a gaming keyboard.

Standing out from the other Sharkoon keyboards, the Skiller SGK20 features a complete 3-block layout with 105 keys. Despite its entire structure, the keyboard has an incredibly slender design and a rimless appearance, making it an excellent fit for any setup. The cable groove at the bottom of the keyboard allows you to hide the cable, completing the clean look.

The Skiller SGK20 boasts a 1,000Hz polling rate and Huano mechanical switches, making it a great choice for gamers. The red linear switches, which are typically preferred by gamers, allow for resistance-free usage without producing clicking sounds. On the other hand, frequent typists and casual gamers may opt for the variant with tactile brown switches with a discernible actuation point. Both types of switches have an operational life cycle of 20 million keystrokes.

The keyboard's accompanying software provides access to the complete feature set of the Skiller SGK20. The RGB illumination on the keyboard can be customised by changing the colour, intensity, or brightness or by choosing one of the 18 pre-programmed lighting effects. The selected customisation can then be stored in several lighting profiles. All additional features available in the software, including recorded macros, can be combined into one of up to 20 game profiles. A profile can then be selected to fit the game, genre, or job with just a few clicks.

The Sharkoon Skiller SGK20 is now available for just €39.90.
