Logitech G’s new Pro X 60 optical-mechanical keyboard brings a new level of customisation

Logitech G has recently unveiled the Logitech G Pro X 60 Lightspeed gaming keyboard. This compact keyboard features a 60% form factor, which is becoming increasingly popular because it frees up desk space, making it easier for players to position it to their liking.

The Pro X 60 comes with a new technology called Keycontrol to address the potential drawbacks of smaller-format keyboards. This feature is a user-friendly tool that comes with GHUB and gives gamers significantly more customisation options than a typical keyboard, allowing them to assign up to 15 functions per key. Combined with G-Shift, it will enable players to activate a new layer of bindings and gain quick access to any command.

The Pro X 60 also incorporates Logitech G's Lightspeed wireless technology (2:1 dongle included) and GX Optical switches in tactile and linear settings. Unlike mechanical switches, GX Optical actuates using light, instantaneously transmitting your inputs and removing the debounce needed by mechanical switches. The switches are factory-lubricated and intended to deliver an enjoyable gaming and typing experience.

In addition, the new Logitech Pro X 60 keyboard also features double-shot PBT keycaps, Lightsync RGB lighting, a volume roller, media keys, Bluetooth support, and a game mode switch. The Pro X 60 Lightspeed wireless gaming keyboard is available in black, white, and pink and comes with a semi-hard carrying case. It is currently available for pre-order for $179/€229 and will be available in late April.
