Glorious introduces a dedicated wireless mechanical numpad

Many of us buy TKL keyboards to save on desk space but every so often, having a numpad can be useful. This week, Glorious is launching the GMMK Numpad, matching the style of its GMMK keyboards, so the dedicated mechanical numpad will look right at home. Better yet, the numpad is wireless.

Despite its size, the GMMK Numpad packs quite the feature set, including 17 programmable keys, a media dial, slider control, and a 5-Pin Hotswap PCB. The numpad is also customisable, with Glorious planning a full line of swappable frames, dials, sliders and accent badges.

The casing is made of anodised aluminium and has Glorious' signature side profile lights to illuminate its surroundings. To connect it to a system, you can use a USB cable or Bluetooth 5.0. If you choose the latter, the Numpad can last for 76 hours in wireless mode. For the switches, Glorious chose its own pre-lubed Fox linear switches with GSV2 stabilisers and ABS Doubleshot keycaps on top.

The GGMK Numpad will be available for $129.99. Pre-orders will go live on Tuesday, August 16th at 5PM BST. Shipping is expected to start in September.

KitGuru says: If you already have a full-sized keyboard, then buying one of these doesn't make a ton of sense unless you really want to move the numpad to the left side of the keyboard. For those with a TKL board though, this is a bit more of an upgrade.
