Corsair introduces the entry-level K55 Core gaming keyboard at CES 2024

Corsair has announced the release of the K55 Core, an entry-level membrane gaming keyboard that delivers the RGB frills of a higher-end keyboard.

This full-size keyboard boasts a contemporary profile and features responsive membrane keys that allow for smooth and precise movements, making it easy to execute your inputs. It also features four specialised media buttons, allowing you to take control of your media. The K55 Core is spill-resistant, withstanding up to 300ml of liquid, according to Corsair.

The ten-zone RGB lighting makes the K55 Core stand out on your desk. With iCUE software, you can unlock the full potential of your keyboard by customising lighting effects, programming macros, remapping keys, and syncing your keyboard's RGB with the rest of your gaming setup. The dedicated Win Lock ensures you never accidentally press the Windows key during gameplay, while the RGB brightness can be adjusted with a single button press. 12-key rollover ensures your actions are processed accurately, even during intense key smashing.

The Corsair K55 Core is priced at just £39.99, making it an affordable option for gamers looking for a budget keyboard.

KitGuru says: Considering the current offering of cheap mechanical keyboards, would you still consider a membrane keyboard like the K55 Core?
