Cherry’s new keyboard comes in a 75% form factor and offers multi-device connectivity

Cherry is best known for its mechanical switches but the company also makes its own keyboards. This week, Cherry is launching the KW 9200 Mini, a compact 75% keyboard with dual wireless connectivity.

When it comes to connecting the KW 9200 Mini to a device, there are essentially no restrictions. The keyboard's multi-device capabilities allow it to simultaneously connect to up to four distinct end devices (2x via BT, one via dongle and another via cable) through diverse channels. You may effortlessly switch between connection modes and operate the appropriate device by pressing the F1-F4 buttons.

Despite its compact dimensions, you won't have to forego the benefits of a full-size keyboard. This little all-rounder has a slew of helpful features up its sleeve. By hitting the FN key, for example, you may access unique functionalities such as picture and volume control. There are also multimedia keys for playing, pausing and changing tracks. Just press to lock the FN key if you want ongoing access to the special features. In RF or BT mode, the keyboard can last for weeks without recharging.

The laptop-style keys are somewhat concave, so your fingers can navigate them without looking, but not enough to stop from sliding through them. Below each keycap, there's a Cherry MX scissor switch designed to offer a near-silent and comfortable typing experience. The Cherry KW 9200 Mini will be available on March 23rd with an MSRP of €84.99. The keyboard comes with a carrying case, a USB-A to USB-C connector, and a USB dongle for wireless operation.
