Cooler Master Keyboard Olympics at Multiplay i53

Getting someone to say “I love you” – even if they don't necessarily mean it – is a pretty decent marketing play. One that Cooler Master had going in full effect up at Multiplay's Insomnia i53 LAN gaming event at the massive Ricoh Arena in Coventry over the weekend. KitGuru cameras were on hand to capture the declarations.

Essentially, choose one of 3 keyboard technologies and, using a custom built app, type “I love Cooler Master” as fast as you can. Winner takes all.

KitGuru says: We heard that the first person onto the Olympic scoreboard was an Overclockers.co.uk marketing guru – who set such a fast time that there was a chance it would not/could not be beaten. A quick call to the developers was required in order to remove the spurious winner. Nice try Mark!

Update 26th November: Cooler Master have replied saying that Marks score needed to be removed due to his being a cyborg and his implants giving him an unfair advantage, the majority of players were human and we needed to ensure an even playing field.
