Xbox Design Lab increases customisation options for Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers

It's nice to be able to personalise something to make it your own. Last October, Xbox Design Lab responded to fan requests by introducing the Xbox Elite Series 2 to its customisation options. Now, Xbox is taking it to the next level by announcing a new range of colours for the Elite Series 2 controller.

With this latest expansion, there are 16 colours for the top and back case, 12 colours for the ABXY buttons, 17 colour options for the paddles and D-pad, and 25 accent colours for the rest of the controller. Xbox Elite Series 2 also features exclusive customisation options, such as metallic triggers and D-Pads for a premium feel and colour adjustments for the thumbstick rings and base.

For those who don't know what the Elite Series 2 offers, this controller is designed to give you a pro-level gaming experience with adjustable-tension thumbsticks, rubberised grips, and shorter hair trigger locks. The Xbox Accessories App lets you map buttons, adjust thumbsticks and triggers, and even customise the colour of the Xbox button light. You can switch between controller profiles using the profile button. With up to 40 hours of rechargeable battery life, Xbox Elite Series 2 controllers can last multiple gaming sessions before needing to be charged again.

Xbox Design Lab also offers various bundles, such as the Thumbsticks + D-pad Pack, Paddles Pack, and Carrying Case + Charging Pack. There's also the Everything Pack, which combines all of these components into one. Custom Elite Series 2 controllers through Xbox Design Lab start at $149.99.
