Pros

  • Low input latency.
  • Dedicated media keys.
  • Great RGB lighting options.
  • PBT double-shot keycaps.
  • Comfortable typing experience for gaming + work.
  • iCUE software offers a tonne of flexibility to really personalise the board.
  • Large full-size keyboard with numeric pad.
  • Dedicated profile switching button.

Cons

  • Keyscan (4000Hz) is not as fast as USB polling rate (8000Hz).
  • Loud ping is audible from my sample when typing.
  • Expensive.
  • The mute indicator doesn’t work as it should and needs to be manually reset.
  • No USB passthrough.

KitGuru says: The K70 RGB PRO certainly adds a few new features to the K70 board, though considering the price tag that is to be expected. There's room for improvement, but it's overall a solid offering.
