ASUS ROG Strix Scope RX TKL Deluxe Wireless Review

Rating: 8.5.

Now, a month later we are checking out the ASUS ROG Strix Scope RX TKL Deluxe Wireless – but is it another solid performer? We put it to the test…

Pros:

  • Fantastic feeling RX optical switches.
  • Matte textured PBT keycaps.
  • Bright and vivid per-key RGB.
  • Tri-mode for multiple ways to connect.
  • Premium aluminium top plate with no ping noise.
  • Dedicated media keys.
  • LED ROG logo to indicate battery life.

Cons:

  • RGB lighting is not uniform on stacked or long keys.
  • The space bar is a bit clanky.
  • Non-standard bottom row.
  • PBT keycaps are not easily replaceable due to the RX switch design.

KitGuru says: The ASUS Strix Scope RX TKL Deluxe Wireless is a great keyboard – offering excellent RX switches, great RGB, quality materials and three different connectivity options. There are minor issues, including the RGB being slightly dim on a few keys and the space bar isn't the quietest. But overall, for this price point, it doesn't disappoint.
