The Kova[+] is supplied in almost identical packaging to the original mouse which is no bad thing at all. The box takes on an unusual shape which can best be described as a box with a large tapered edge. The top of the box is actually a door, secured magnetically, that can be opened to reveal the mouse sitting inside.
Unsurprisingly, the box is covered in the same black and blue livery that we have seen with ROCCAT products in the past. This is very attractive in design and is sure to make the Kova[+] stand out on the shelves. The reverse of the box contains a good deal of information about the mouse inside for those who are interested.
There aren’t a huge number of accessories that we can expect to be bundled with a mouse, especially with a mid-range one like the Kova[+]. There is no fancy weights system or wireless connectivity so, the only other items included in the box are a user guide and a driver CD.
Nice looking mouse. Im afraid my microsoft one has done me a long time and there is still some life in it yet.
The mouse shape looks comfortable from the pictures. that software design is so cluttered looking however. its like an alienware design interface system
I just bought another IKARI after finding one on a store. the kai is not so good. This looks pretty good, never seen them stocked locally, and I never buy a mouse online without putting my hand on it first. only way to tell if it will work.
Nick if youre in the UK and are attending epicLAN or i42 this year there will be a range of Roccat gear to view, test and win in competitions ! (over at Kustom pc’s)
Looks like a decent buy for the price, but so many options now it would be hard to pick this over say a steel series or razer
Almost bought this weeks ago but opted for a Logitech as it’s too risky without using it first hand
