Edifier launches improved W820NB Plus headphones promising near-lossless wireless audio

Edifier has impressed us plenty of times over the years with its speakers and headphones. Today, the company is unveiling its latest wireless headphones, the new W820NB Plus, an upgraded version of the popular W820NB headphones.

The new Plus version makes upgrades in a few key areas, including support for LDAC coding, certification for Hi-Res wireless audio, new 40mm dynamic drivers with a titanium-coated composite diaphragm for clearer audio and improved battery life.

The new Edifier W820NB Plus headphones offer up to 49 hours of wireless playback and thanks to the new LDAC coding, you'll get to stream higher bit-rate audio files without losing detail, offering near-lossless audio in a wireless form factor.

Here's the main feature set for the headphones:

  • Immersive sound with both Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified
  • Active Noise Cancellation with ambient mode
  • DNN noise cancellation technology for crystal clear call quality
  • Up to 49 hours of continuous playback with ANC off
  • 0.08s of low latency for the seamless gaming experience
  • Can be used as wired headphones via a USB-C cable

The Edifier W820NB Plus wireless headphones should offer very good value for money too, priced at just £79.99.
