Asus launches ROG Cetra True Wireless gaming earbuds with dual-connectivity

Recently, ASUS officially launched the ROG Phone 6, as well as a suite of new accessories, like the new ROG Cetra True Wireless Earbuds, featuring dual-connectivity and hi-fi grade audio quality.

There will be a base ROG Cetra True Wireless and a Pro version, featuring dual-connectivity via Bluetooth and USB-C. The earbuds are also the world's first dual-connectivity headphones to feature an ESS Quad DAC and AI Noise-Cancelling microphone. Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound technology is built in, so you get a low-latency connection and 24-bit, 96KHz audio quality.

The Cetra True Wireless Pro features a Gaming mode that enables ultra-low-latency 45ms performance when games are launched on the newly announced ROG Phone 6. In addition, this earbuds include multiple Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) modes that cancel out general background noise, with additional enhanced modes filtering out a wider range of background and wind noises.

Connecting the bundled USB-C cable with in-line audio optimizer automatically enables wired mode. The in-line audio optimizer features a hi-fi-grade ESS 9280 DAC, which provides lossless audio processing for rich, detailed spatial sound, along with an impressive 130dB signal-to-noise ratio, allowing listeners to pinpoint the origin of enemy footsteps or gunfire.

The base ROG Cetra True Wireless earbuds also features a low-latency gaming mode, as well as Hybrid ANC technology to filter out background noise.

The ROG Cetra True Wireless earbuds will be available starting this month. The Pro version is expected to be available starting in Q4 2022.
