Corsair announces budget-friendly HS35 v2 surround sound headset

Corsair is getting ready to launch its latest entry-level gaming headsets, the HS35 v2 and HS35 Surround v2. These headphones are compatible with a wide variety of devices thanks to the universal 3.5mm connector.

The HS35 v2 series provides a diverse range of audio options. The custom-tuned 50mm neodymium drivers deliver a broad spectrum of sound. If you go for the surround sound version, then you'll also be able to enable Dolby Audio 7.1 thanks to a bundled USB receiver – although this is only supported on PC and Mac. Thanks to the 3.5mm connection though, you can still use these headsets with anything from your smartphone or tablet, to your Nintendo Switch, Xbox or PlayStation, as well as PC.

For comfort, Corsair is including plush fabric ear pads out of the box. These headsets also use a suspended headband design, so it should fit well no matter the user. On-ear controls provide convenient access to volume and mute controls, and the omnidirectional microphone has a flexible arm, so you can freely move it to your preferred position.

These gaming headsets are now available in North America and will be available in Europe and other parts of the globe later this month. Both gaming headsets are backed by a two-year warranty, with the standard HS35 v2 costing £39.99/$49.99/€49.99 and the HS35 v2 Surround costing £49.99/$59.99/€59.99.
