Overall we are fairly impressed with what the Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS Shock gaming headset has to offer. It performed very well throughout our tests, although a virtual surround sound model would be preferable for more serious gamers. The stereo nature of the headset provides wider compatibility, though, thanks to the 3.5 mm connector.
We were a little underwhelmed by the quality of the plastic used in the construction of the headset as it feels a little flimsy in places. That said, the construction of the headset feels solid and we expect it will last a good few years. The aesthetic design is very attractive, too, which makes it quite an enticing headset overall.
At a price of around £30 from Amazon, the Tt eSPORTS Shock offers excellent value for money. This makes the Shock ideal for those users who may have a restricted budget but are still looking for a quality headset that offers great features and functionality. At this price, we can certainly forgive the cheap feeling plastics that are used here and there in the construction.
Pros
- Great value.
- Attractive design.
- Impressive sound quality.
Cons
- Plastics feel a little poor in places.
KitGuru says: An impressive headset that offers great bang-for-buck.
These sound great, but they fall apart – I know reviewers dont get much time with them, but ive had two pairs.
Thermaltake build quality is always dire. they need to sort it out.
very uncomfortable – looks great and sound good, but my friend has a pair and he can’t wear them for more than 30 minutes at a time. also feel very flimsy
My pair have been fine for months and I dont find them uncomfortable
I love it, 10/10, cheap, I don’t find it flimsy, great quality, much more comfortable than my old Turtle Beach PX21.

feels and is are 2 different things folks. I’ve had the Shock, regular shock for over 2 years now, not a simple break anywhere, am i’m the kinda guy who buys Steelseries Siberia V2 and has them for 1-6 months max, after that they brake in the most awkward places.
This is basically unbreakable 😀 Since i’ve dropped myn more than 10 000 times.
