ICY BOX External 2.5″ HDD USB 3.0 Enclosure Review

Rating: 7.0.

We have reviewed several USB 3.0 enclosures recently, this time is the turn of a 2.5″ device from ICY BOX. With the price of SSD's falling constantly, a 2.5″ HDD enclosure has never been more tempting. With a 60 GB SSD recently being retailed at under £30, it certainly wouldn't break the bank to have an ultra fast USB 3.0 external hard drive. Of course, if you want more capacity then 500 GB 2.5″ mechanical HDD's are available for less than £50.

ICY BOX is a sub-brand of Raidsonic, specifically focused at storage solutions, media players and multimedia accessories.
