The Duracell 5 hour charger is a very nicely styled product and it will stand out in a crowded market filled with ugly beige devices. Duracell make quality batteries and it is great to see them expanding their product range into multi functional charging devices.

On a technical level we felt it delivered a good charge before it needed some socket time itself. It could recharge our Blackberry phone from flat to 100% in the same time as a mains source and worked equally well with the iPod Classic device I use on a daily basis. The option to charge two devices at the same time is very appealing because we can see this being used at home … hooked up into the mains to save socket space.

The Duracell 5 hour charger is well built, does exactly what it should do and our sample didn't exhibit any weird quirks or glaring issues which we have experienced with cheaper, poorly built chargers in the past. This is a slimline little device which can easily fit into a coat pocket and can help cover emergency situations, on the move.
