Razer announce ‘world’s thinnest’ gaming ultrabook

Late last week Razer announced a new version of their Blade laptop – which they claim is the ‘world's thinnest' gaming Ultrabook.

The laptop measures 17mm in depth. It is 13.6 inches wide, and 9.3 inches high (345 mm x 235 mm) and weighs 1.9kg. The Blade ships with a 14 inch LED display with support for a resolution up to 1600×900. Inside is the Nvidia GTX765M with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. This machine is equipped to handle the latest games at the native resolution. Razer include an HDMI port to hook up to an external monitor, if needed.

Inside is 8GB of memory, a 4th generation Intel Core processor, a SATA III SSD in 128GB, 256GB and 512GB options.

The machine also has three USB 3.0 ports, built in wireless, a 70Wh rechargeable lithium ion battery and a 150W Power Adapter. It has Windows 8 installed.

Razer should be taking pre-orders today, ahead of E3. The price starts at $1,800 and will increase depending on the size of the SSD. Read more about the laptop here.
