Dell have released some systems featuring the latest Haswell processors.
They have announced at Computex that they are releasing three new Haswell desktop systems.
XPS 8700
Their flagship desktop PC, the XPS 8700 tower ships with up to 4TB of storage and has four HDD trays if you need to add more. The tower includes six USB 3.0 ports, up to 32GB of DDR3 1600 memory and an optional SSD. Prices will start at $699.99.
XPS 27
The latest XPS 27 will have a 27 inch edge to edge glass touchscreen with a native resolution of 2560×1440. The monitor has full support for Adobe RGB colour, with a 99 percent coverage of the NTSC colour gamut.
The monitor features a dual hinge design that can move the monitor up and down as well as swivel left to right. It can also lay flat if you want to use the touchscreen from a standing position. The machine also has Thunderbolt technology support with six USB 3.0 ports. There is a choice for an optional 256SSD, or a standard 7,200 rpm harddrive. The system ships with integrated graphics however you can pay extra for a Geforce GT750M graphics card. Prices start at $1599.99.
Optiplex 9020 All in One.
The Optiplex 9020 is designed for business customers and as well as the all-in-one system shown above, the company are releasing one without an integrated display in ultra small form factor and mini tower configurations.
The system will include options for an SSD, mechanical hard drive, integrated or discrete graphics and Intels VPro security technology. It can also be fitted with the Dell Cloud Desktop and run remotely for added security.
