Japanese OEM launches Noctua-cooled RTX 4070 and 4060 Ti graphics cards

The ASUS Noctua RTX 4080 is no longer the only RTX 40 series card with Noctua fans. While the Noctua RTX 4080 was created in close cooperation with Noctua, Sycom took a different approach with its Noctua-cooled RTX 4070 and 4060 Ti graphics cards.

Sycom, a Japanese OEM system builder, has collaborated with Nagao Industry to build structures capable of housing two Noctua fans (fans of similar size should also work) to cool RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 Ti GPUs. This partnership resulted in three graphics cards under the new Silent Master series: An RX 4060 Ti (8GB and 16GB models) featuring two 140mm Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM fans and an RTX 4070 with two A12x25 LS-PWM fans.

Sycom isn't an Nvidia AIB partner, but it works with various OEM manufacturers that allow it to build customised cooling solutions for GPUs. The RTX 4070-based card has a quad-slot design, while the RTX 4060 Ti cards use a dual-slot design with one 8-pin power socket each. None of these cards are factory overclocked.

Sycom claims that their cards have a noise level of less than 40 decibels (dBA), so you should rarely hear the fans spin if you have the graphics card housed in a closed PC case. While idling, Sycom only measured 31.4 dB on both cards, increasing to 37.1 dB under load for the RTX 4070 and 39.4 dB for the RTX 4060 Ti cards. As for temperature testing, the Silent Master cards seem to run at relatively low temperatures at high loads, with the RTX 4070 averaging at 59.2 ºC and a maximum of 59.9 ºC. Meanwhile, the RTX 4060 Ti averaged at 59.6 ºC and maxed at 64.4 ºC.

These cards seem to be provided with Sycom prebuilt gaming systems. Currently, there's no information regarding their availability for the DIY market. Still, even if they end up being purchasable, distribution will most likely be limited to the Japanese market.
