AMD reveals Radeon RX 7900 XTX “Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora” limited edition graphics card

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, AMD and Ubisoft have joined forces to launch a themed graphics card, the RX 7900 XTX Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Limited Edition.

The model is distinguished not just by the Navi 31 GPU and 24GB of RAM powering it but also by its unusual colour palette, with black as the base and various green and blue tones. This special graphics card differs from AMD's base model and the newly launched Starfield Limited Edition in more ways than one. It's a one-of-a-kind graphics card featuring thermally reactive paint that changes colours when the card warms up, showing up Avatar-inspired marks as the temperature increases.

In the video above, you can see the card in detail, including the marks shown with the temperature increase. The cooler itself is pretty much the same as the reference card that AMD launched in 2022.

The video teaser states that this model will not be available for purchase; it is simply a promotional item that will be given away during special events. So, if you're interested in getting one, pay attention to AMD on social media, as it should announce these events through its various channels.

KitGuru says: The idea behind this is pretty cool and would be interesting to see in person. Will you be looking to enter one of the upcoming competitions for one of these cards?
