Assassin’s Creed Pirates releasing on the 5th of December

Assassin's Creed will be coming to Android and IOS this December, the mobile spin off is titled Assassin's Creed Pirates and will focus on naval combat and exploring the Caribbean islands. Ubisoft Paris developed the mobile title and much like its bigger brother- Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, the game's story follows your search for treasure.

The game won't feature Edward Kenway but will instead put you in the shoes of Alonzo Batilla, with a few of its key features including: Being able to recruit and upgrade crew members, outfit your pirate ships and go head to head with other in-game ships in real-time naval combat. The game will feature the classic Assassins VS Templars conflict that all of the games are centered around, you'll also get your chance to meet some famous pirates including Blackbeard, Bellamy and Hornigold.

Mobile gaming has come a long way in recent years; Nvidia even has a mobile processor that's capable of producing graphics that compare to those found on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It's called Project Logan if you're curious.

Assassin's Creed Pirates will release on the 5th of December for $4.99, we don't have prices for other regions but I doubt the exchange rate will be taken in to account so i'd expect it to be £4.99 for the UK.

Kitguru Says: The game sounds pretty fun and it might be worth a shot. It'd be good for Android console owners. What do you guys think of serious games hitting the mobile platform? I thought the Amazing Spiderman mobile game was pretty good.
