Poor Hideo, he's all excited about the release of the Metal Gear Solid Legacy edition (his legacy, if you think about it) and then he goes and watches the trailer for Rockstar's next instalment in the GTA series and it looked so good it got him all depressed.
“GTA V” new trailer was awesome! This free control is future of the game, way higher than anywhere, makes me depress as matter fact.(cont..),” read his first tweet after the trailer (watch it here), was released. He followed this up shortly after by saying: “I don't think our “V” can reach that level. Rockstar's team are the best. W/o question they will pull up the possibility of game.”
While this might not exactly ignite a fire under Metal Gear fans about the next game in that franchise, it goes to show how much of an impact the new GTA game is having months before its release. It should also be said that the audience for both games might have some crossover, but there's a big difference between those that want to spend an hour in a shoot-out with the cops and those that want to play Ninja.
KitGuru Says: The few seconds of multiplayer was perhaps the most interesting thing in the GTA V trailer for me. Where it showed a player inside a high-rise, watching people race around and fly jets below him.
