HTC have released the HTC One Mini in the UK with a pre-order price of £379.99. The smartphone has 1GB of ram, 16GB of internal storage (12gb free) and a 1.4 ghz dual core processor. The screen is 4.3 inches with a 720p resolution, less than the HTC One's 4.7 inch 1080p resolution. The same 4MP UltraPixel camera is incorporated with a 1.6MP front camera.
Build quality looks to be high although there is a plastic frame edging the Mini which is said to speed up production time. Both front and back of the smartphone is aluminum and SlashGear say it is ‘leagues ahead in aesthetics' when directly compared against the Galaxy S4 Mini.
The HTC One Mini is slightly bigger and heavier than the S4 Mini but the screen quality is better (720p/341ppi v 540p/256ppi).
The HTC One Mini will be released in August, around the 9th and mobile retailers Mobile Fun are taking a pre-order for £379.99, sim free.
