Isohunt hit by extended downtime

Isohunt.com is one of the biggest torrent search sites around and it's been that way since its creation just over ten years ago. Today though, it's had fans worried as since the early hours of this morning, it's not been accessible – no 404, no nothing. Don't worry though, it's no DDOS or US authorities shut down, but a simply database error.

The owner of the site, Gary Fung, reached out to Torrentfreak to let people know that all is ok. Describing it as  database issues,” and a bad kernel, Fung says he hopes to have the site back online within half a day – but there's no guarantees.

If you want to keep up to date on the development of the issue or for any updates on when the admins think they'll get the database back under control, the best bet is to keep an eye on the Facebook page or on the official Twitter account.

KitGuru Says: Of course none of you guys can access Torrent sites because the BPI did such a good job blocking them right?
