Sharkoon is back with a new pair of ATX mid-towers. Aimed at those who prefer a minimalistic look to their rigs, the new VS8 and VS9 cases are available in two versions, one without a side window and lights, intended for offices and business machines, and a gaming version complete with a tempered glass window and RGB LEDs.
The front panels of the office-ready VS8 and VS9 standard versions are styled with a minimalist look so that the cases can easily blend into business environments, domestic study rooms, or home offices. The fan ships with a 120mm fan pre-installed at the back to exhaust warm air. You can install up to three more 120mm fans in the front of the case to pull in cool air. Two additional fan mounts can be found in the roof of the case.
The gaming versions of the VS8 and VS9 include a tempered glass windowed side panel to offer a decent view of your build, as well as RGB lighting. The gaming versions also ship with additional fans, adding two 120mm fans to the front of the case, and another 120mm fan in the rear.
Both versions of these cases support liquid cooling, so you can fit a 360mm radiator in the front of the case, or a 280mm radiator in the roof. For storage, you'll find room for up to two 3.5-inch HDDs or four 2.5-inch SSDs, with drive mounts found behind the motherboard tray or on the PSU shroud. You can also install a drive cage if preferred. Finally, for I/O, you'll find two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and the usual audio jacks on the front of the case. The RGB versions of the cases remove a USB 2.0 port in favour of a USB Type-C port instead.
The Sharkoon VS8 and VS9 cases will be available soon, priced at €44.90 euros for the standard versions, or €59.90 for the RGB variant.
