nVidia price cuts extend to laptops with MSI GE60 and GE70

With all the price cuts on nVidia desktop graphics cards, we guess it was only time before the mobile space also started to throw up some GeForce bargains. Having broken into the world's Top 10 for laptops a few years back, this Taiwanese outfit still pushes hard to create original designs. Now available for less, apparently.

With the MSI GE60 gaming notebook coming fully equipped with an Intel Core processor, SteelSeries keyboard and THX audio surrounding a 15.6″ full HD screen, the only thing that seems to differentiate it from it's big brother is screen size. The MSI GE70 comes with a 17.2″ HD+ monitor.

With both laptops, your gaming experience will be driven by an nVidia GeForce GT 650M with 2GB of GDDR5.

So far, so good.

But for a limited period only, both of these systems will be missing something.

The thing they will be missing is £100 on the price in fact – courtesy of what seems to be an nVidia-driven price promo.

We have had a good look around and the best deals seem to be:-

Phat Panda Knocks off Phat Discount. Apparently.

KitGuru says: A couple of months ago, we predicted that there would be some ‘adjustment' in the market and it looks like its happening. We actually thought memory and SSDs would drive it, but Jen Hsun's squad seems to be in the price-driver's seat right now.
