Many people are waiting on the new G2 phone from LG. At their event in New York the company highlighted the features of the watch, calling the G2 ‘The most ambitious phone in history'.
Key features of the LG G2 are a new edge to edge display (‘near zero bezel'), state of the art power capacity and optical image stabilisation with ‘studio quality' hi-fi sound. There is only one physical button placed on the device, called the ‘Rear Key'.
Dr Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Mobile said “Our definition of innovation today is technology that truly resonates with consumers. We have always listened to and learned from consumers in pursuit of innovation. We took this research to new heights in developing LG G2, the most exciting and ambitious phone in our company’s history.”

The G2 is powered by a quad core Qualcomm Snagdragon 800 Processor and has a whopping 5,2 inch screen with full HD (1920×1080) resolution with a pixel density of 423 ppi. The screen is also IPS, so viewing angles will be excellent.
There will be two storage size options – 16GB or 32GB and there is 2GB of LPDDR3 800mhz memory installed to handle a multitasking environment. There is a front 2.1 mp camera for chatting and conferencing and a 13 MP rear camera with OIS (stabilisation) for taking snapshots and video.

The phone measures 138.5x 70.9 x 8.9 mm and ships with Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. It will be available in black or white.
Kitguru says: Enough to cause problems for Samsung?
I have LG G2 from almost 1 year now and looking forward to buy LG G3. Well, still I am impressed with its performance and recently purchased a wireless charger for it from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00JA7HNZO
to keep its 3000mAh battery fully charged. The charger is also compatible with all qi enabled Smartphones.
