Apple are due to unveil the new iPhone in the next couple of days, but people have been queuing since late last week at the Apple New York store.
Apple will be showing their new flagship iPhone 5S and possibly their budget model next week, but it doesn't necessarily mean people can buy them immediately. Pre-orders normally happen a few days after the new iPhone reveal, followed by another week before the orders ship to customers. The expected release date is said to be around the 20th of September.
The people queueing outside the New York store might have a long week on their hands. Venture Beat have a story published which reads ‘These idiots are already lining up at Apple's NYC store for the new iPhone launch.'
Kitguru says: Are these people insane or just really dedicated Apple fans?
Most likely insane brainwashed iZombies… why would you do this when you can order online when it’s available, at least 12 days from now…
BAH! It’s overpriced tech anyway, you pay so much for these devices that have specs so low they are too ashamed to even show it on their official website, you have to take some turns to find out the iPhone 5 has a low clocked dual core and a 2000mAh battery that barely holds for 4 hours of actual usage.
I don’t upvote any other phone/phablet, but the Apple has a strange marketing mechanism that makes its buyers think they have the latest and greatest and in fact, they have 2011 specs on a nice designed case… They get away with it because they have permanent and complete control over the OS, due to it not being open source and they can optimise it as good as possible to run on these low end devices….
Very true, also iphone chipset is samsung. Might as well get the better device by far Galaxy Range beat iphone hands down !!!!
Don’t get SUCKED in….
Most of these are probably unemployed actors, paid to be there to create HYPE……..
