G.Skill release 32GB 3000MHz DDR3 Extreme Memory

It is not too long ago when G.Skill's TridentX memory set a new world record in the hands of professional overclocker James “YoungPro” Trevaskis. Now, G.Skill is releasing a 32GB (4 x 8GB) kit clocked at 3000MHz.

Designed to take full advantage of the Z87 platform, G.Skill claims 1.65v in combination with improved XMP profiles is enough to reach 3000MHz. Backing up their claims, they also sent in a number of screenshots.

The full range of memory kits available in the TridentX series is outlined in the table below.

Pricing is not yet known at this moment in time but will almost certainly fluctuate heavily as a result of the events at Hynix FABs 1 and 2 earlier today.

KitGuru says: Hardcore gamers might want to look out for memory with tighter timings. However, these kits are good news for professionals looking to upgrade their systems with a large amount of RAM.
