Nikon has announced an update to their top of the range Coolpix digital compact camera.
The Coolpix P7800 has a new improved viewfinder which has a 921k dot resolution, delivering clear and sharp images. With the addition of the new viewfinder Nikon have had to move the buttons around.
The camera ships with a 28-200mm f2.0-4.0 lens and has a 12 megapixel 1/1.7 inch CMOS sensor – the same as the previous P7700.
The P7800 is well equipped with a mode dial on the top of the body and individual controls for exposure – making it a good compromise for those people used to handling a full on DSLR.
The release date in the United Kingdom is set for September 26th with a price of £499.99.
Kitguru says: Just in time for the end of year Christmas deals.
