Nokia Lumia followers will be happy to hear that the company have confirmed their release date in the United Kingdom. There has been much talk about the smartphone already, thanks in part to the 41 megapixel camera built into the product.
The release date is set for September 25th, although it has been available in America now for some time. Many fear that the phone may be ignored as Apple are releasing their new iPhone models this month as well.
For those interested, as well as the massive megapixel camera, the phone is equipped with a dual core 1.5ghz processor, 2GB of memory, 32GB of internal storage, a 2000 mAh battery. As Microsoft now own the company, no shock to hear that it will be running Windows Phone 8.
There are plans available from the likes of O2, Vodafone and Three, although if you want the Lumia 1020 without a contract, be prepared to pay £549.99.
