Google claim they are immune to UK law

Internet powerhouse Google have been at the centre of a controversy after being accused of illegally tracking UK users browser histories. More than 100 British people are attempting to take the company to court over the issues.

Google say they do not have to comply with UK laws, even though they have received a lot of negative press over avoiding UK tax charges.

  1. Funny I saw an article basically calling EA and essentially preaching anti-EA hatred published by this site for charging micro-transactions. But Google saying they don’t have to comply with UK laws gets a bit of a brush off.

I don’t agree with how google are acting but it’d be nice if you went into details more, when you take a video games company to task for having high prices.

  2. Operated from the US or not they should still be held responsible for their actions. Personally I think Google are starting to get beyond ignorant and big headed. After losing $22 million you’d think they would wise up
