New Wii U bundles coming to the UK

We can all agree the Wii U is the underdog of the “next” generation. It came out a year early and for the longest time some people didn't know it existed, others thought it was just a new Wii and others were waiting for the game library to improve. To try and combat this, the Wii U is getting a couple of new bundles for the holiday season. These include: the Mario & Luigi premium bundle, the Wii U Party bundle and the Just Dance bundle.

The Mario&Luigi bundle will be available on the 8th of November and will include:

  • Black premium Wii U 32GB console
  • Black Wii U gamepad
  • Super Mario Bros U

The Wii U part bundle will be available on the 15th of November and will include:

  • White basic Wii U 8GB console
  • White gamepad and Wii remote plus controller
  • Wii Party U and Gameland discs

The Just Dance bundle will come out on the 22nd of November and will include:

  • White basic Wii U 8GB console
  • White gamepad and Wii plus controller
  • Sensor bar
  • Just Dance 2014 and Gameland

Just Dance 2014 and Gameland will be given to the bundle buyers once the games are available.

Pricing is the same for each package, setting back customers £250 a piece. This is a much improved deal over very early Wii U bundles, but still hardly cheap for a machine that can be found on ebay for around the £150 mark.

KitGuru Says: The Wii U has had a hard time so far, the Gamepad idea is really cool and I would probably own one if it weren't for the lack of games. Nintendo had the same problem with the Wii and the 3DS, fortunately both of those consoles eventually did develop a great library of games winning over buyers and developers. Are any of you guys still rooting for the Wii U?
