AOC AGON launches new CQ27G2S/BK curved monitor

AOC AGON has introduced its latest display, the CQ27G2S/BK. This is a 27-inch QHD curved gaming monitor, designed to offer a host of sought-after gaming features in an affordable package.

At the core of the CQ27G2S/BK is a VA panel with a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and 250 nits of brightness, giving this gaming monitor a balanced canvas for gaming and watching videos and movies. The CQ27G2S/BK's panel has a 1500R curvature, resulting in a panoramic field of view to immerse viewers. With a QHD resolution, 4 ms G2G response time (1 ms MPRT), and a 165 Hz refresh rate, AOC claims that gamers can expect a sharp and smooth gaming experience.

The CQ27G2S/BK covers 99% of the sRGB spectrum and supports HDR10 content. Moreover, it also benefits from Adaptive-Sync technology to minimise screen tearing. The CQ27G2S/BK also comes with an ergonomic stand that allows for height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, enabling users to adjust the positioning for the user's comfort. If the stand doesn't offer enough ergonomic capabilities, you can always pair the monitor with a VESA 100×100-compatible monitor arm.

The monitor's Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue Light mode help to reduce eye strain, while the monitor's OSD also has a number of gaming-related functions, such as Shadow Control, which allows gamers to modify shadow levels, various overlays, including a crosshair and an FPS counter, and various colour presets. Additionally, you can use the AOC G-Menu software to customise the OSD features.

The AOC Gaming CQ27G2S/BK will be available for purchase at an MSRP of £219.99 beginning in September 2023.

KitGuru says: At this price, the AOC Gaming CQ27G2S/BK looks like a great value on paper.
