Sharkoon has released plenty of peripherals over the years but its new keyboard might be its best yet. The new SKILLER SGK50 S4 is a fully customisable mechanical keyboard with support for both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, so users can easily replace switches to find their perfect balance between type-feel, noise and responsiveness.
The SKILLER SGK S4 barebones model ships without keycaps and switches and are designed for both ANSI or ISO layouts. It'll be the perfect starting point for someone looking to put together their own custom mechanical keyboard.
The barebones model is available in both black or white. As the board is compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, you can put almost any model of switch in. If you need help deciding on a switch type, mechanical switch tester kits can be found cheaply online.
Like the pre-built version of the SKILLER SGK S4, the barebones model comes in a 60 percent format, so you'll save plenty of desk space compared to a full-sized model. The board also has easy-to-program RGB lighting with several effects.
The Sharkoon SKILLER SGK50 S4 Barebones version is available starting this month, priced at €49.90.
