Sony have announced their new Android HDMI dongle for TV's. The new Bravia Smart Stick providers users with access to the Google Play app store, Chrome Internet Browser and other Sony related applications.
The device has a built in HDMI input and pass through function meaning that a set top box can also be connected to the dongle to search and view TV programs.
A touchpad controller offers voice recognition capabilities. The clicker will work as a universal remote, making it possible to operate more devices from the unit.
Sony pricing is normally quite high and the Bravia Smart Stick hit retail in America for $149, which is a substantial investment as similar devices on the market are a fraction of the price.
