If you're in the market for an over the top luxury phone, then we've got you covered. British phone maker Vertu have just released its new ‘Constellation' Android phone with a price tag of £4,090.
For such a high price you'd expect high end specs and features, maybe even some you wouldn't find on your average Android device. Well instead Vertu have opted for a less is more approach. The specs include;
- Android 4.2
- 4.3 Inch 720p display
- 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4
- 13 megapixel Camera
- 1.3 megapixel front facing camera
- 1,800mAh battery
- 32GB of storage
You can probably tell by now that you aren't exactly paying for extravagant specs, you don't even get 4G support, but you are getting some top of the line build materials. The phone is made out of grade 5 titanium making it seriously strong and resistant to damage and the screen is made from Sapphire crystal. On the back too, is genuine leather, unlike the Galaxy Note 3 where Samsung opted for a faux leather effect plastic.
The phone will come with a few services Vertu provide with their expensive phones- these include: unlimited iPass Wi-Fi, Kaspersky anti-virus, a tracking service and encrypted VoIP.
KitGuru Says: If you happen to be rich, don't care so much about specs and want a phone built out of titanium then this may be for you. I'd expect a little more power in a phone this expensive though.
