YOYOTech launches multi-coloured range of silent systems

When KitGuru Labs put the Aerocool Dead Silence under the microscope, we were pleasantly surprised. The design was something much slicker and more advanced than we anticipated and it easily walked off with our top award. YOYOTech has now taken this chassis – in all 5 colours – and created a brand new Warbird range. KitGuru switches to dye-hard mode and investigates.

KitGuru's conclusion on the Aerocool Dead Silence was that it's solid metal construction, smooth leather finish, support for high end cooling and excellent acoustic/thermal performance made it a very attractive prospect.

We looked at the white one, but it actually comes in black, orange, red and an ‘Apple iPhone 5s alike' gold.

YOYOTech has used all of them at the same time in two ranges. The M-Cube I is based around AMD's 6800k APU technology, with while the M-Cube-II uses Intel's 4670 Haswell.

The AMD version comes with a 23″ IPS screen and Windows 8.1 for £599.

The Intel option comes with a 27″ IPS monitor and boots from an SSD, with the inc vat price of £799.

Full details over here.

With no obviously noisy components, these M-Cube systems are likely to be very quiet indeed.

KitGuru says: The AMD option comes with 1333MHz memory, so we'd recommend an upgrade to 2,133MHz or faster. Also, if you are tempted, ask about the new Seagate Hybrid HDD option which adds an 8GB SSD to a standard hard drive for a little extra juice. But most of all, check with your significant other that the Aerocool Dead Silence chassis matches the sitting room cushions.Comment below, in the KitGuru forums or join us online over at Facebook.
