Deck Around this Christmas with slang you’ve never heard

We covered Terrible Things a while back, a humiliating and abominable game that looks as much to play as it is to deride, but unfortunately due to problems with its name it's not going to make it to people for Christmas. Something that looks like it might though, is Deck Around, a card game in a similar adult/childish fashion, all based around the slang found on urban dictionary.

The idea of the game is to pick a slang term from a pile and read it out. Then everyone has to come up with a definition of their own, which are written down and mixed in with the original, before the players try to guess which is the real one; the idea being, that hilarity ensues. If you kick in to the campaign over at IndieGogo, you'll get a big deck of cards, some pencils, fancy answer paper and some instructions that come in a “sexy shrink wrapped box.”

Gotta love the retro art too

I spoke with the guy behind the game and he assures me that if you're in the US and the game is funded by the 7th December, he'll get some of the funds early and be able to ship the game out for Christmas. Unfortunately international orders won't arrived until after the holidays though.

KitGuru Says: Looks like a fun little game. If I wasn't maintaining my vigil to await everything I've Kickstarter already before pledging to anything else, I'd go for it.
