Update: It looks like this could have been an Amazon retail partner listing, not Amazon itself. Sadly, that means the information found in the article could be fake and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Amazon is renowned for outing products before they are supposed to be announced and today is no different as the retailer's Italian site just listed Tomb Raider: The definitive edition.
The Amazon listing has been taken down but fortunately, the print screen key exists:
The first listing suggested a PS4 release on the 24th of January while a second listing (also taken down) just refers to next gen consoles. However that latter one didn't name any one console specifically, so while it could mean the Wii U, an Xbox One port would be much more likely.
The definitive edition will include all DLC just like any GOTY edition but Tomb Raider's DLC didn't add any story content so this re-release may not hold much value to you if you just play for the story. An art book will also be included for Amazon pre-orderers.
Tomb Raider came out for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in March this year and while the game sold over a million copies, Square Enix branded it as a sales flop. A Tomb Raider sequel is also in the works for the next generation although we don't know anything about the sequel yet.
Kitguru Says: Considering the lack of additional story content, I'm not sure how many people will buy this. However, I am excited about the sequel. Did you guys enjoy the Tomb Raider reboot?
