The ever-changing attire of Assassin’s Creed protagonists

Assassin's Creed may have started off following the life of one robed Assassin' and one casually clothed future-man, but today we've covered five different protagonists over a series of different games, on a variety of different platforms and the garments these men (and one woman) choose to clothe themselves in have subtly changed over the past few years. If you've ever wondered how, someone's put together a quick infographic to show it.

Produced by the guys over at HalloweenCostumers.com, the graphic highlights some of the inspirations for mainstay Ezio and his forefather Altair, both of whom use bird of prey motifs, though when you get into Aveline and Edward, things change markedly.

While the original assassin's were mainly focused on keeping their identity and profession a secret, both Mr Kenway and Miss de Grandpré do away with that idea and instead have outfits that clearly state their line of business – to the player at least: pirate.

KitGuru Says: We're a little past Haloween at this point, but if you're thinking of putting together an Assassin's Creed New Year's outfit, this could come in handy.
