Bungie has released more Destiny gameplay footage

Destiny will be Bungie's first game since it parted ways with the Halo franchise, so as you can imagine, gamers are very interested in seeing what they do next. However, so far Destiny gameplay footage has been scarce and the developer hasn't given much away about the game, luckily though, they still check in every once in a while with some updates.

Firstly, the Destiny website has been updated with some short 30 second videos, showing off the Warlock, Titan and Hunter. Each video shows off some gameplay footage, while the website provides some background and lore information on each of the characters. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDPDbPOShhs']

Bungie is also on track for its 9th of September release date, with the Pre-Alpha build finished but there is still plenty of work to be done before the Summer beta can take place:

“Pre-Alpha itself is just a beginning. It leads us into Alpha proper, and you into Beta, but it’s already keeping us up late into the night. Though we’re bleary-eyed and exhausted with the day-to-day challenge of keeping Destiny on track, the tiny sampling offered by our Pre-Alpha is already hugely motivating.”

KitGuru Says: Destiny is starting to look pretty good although Bungie would have been wise to include the PC platform in its release plans. Will you guys be picking up Destiny or will you be holding out for a possible PC release?

KitGuru Games: The Genius Casting of Kaitlyn Dever in HBO’s The Last of Us

Following an explosive and highly popular first series, HBO’s The Last of Us Season 2 is almost upon us. Set to premiere on the 13th of April, the sequel season based on Naughty Dog’s controversial Part II is likely to spark up even more discourse than the first. Unlike 2020’s masterpiece however, HBO’s adaptation has made one key decision which – if handled well – could not only serve to build upon the theming of the game itself, but also function as a different way to tell the same message. That being the casting of Kaitlyn Dever as Abby.

  1. Bungie is one of my top favourite companies. throughout its life time they have been famous for introducing games that have literally changed and accelerated the games industry so I already know Destiny is going to be simply epic, it’s about time we got more loot-shooters (all i can really think of is Borderlands) But I only have an Xbox 360 and I wouldn’t want to play an amazing looking game like this unless it was at it’s peak but I can’t just cash in for an Xbone. I probably will end up waiting for a PC version but I’m pretty sure it won’t come out for maybe years after initial console releases. As long as they separate the PC version from the console version so it doesn’t become ‘just another horrific console port’ I’ll be happy.
