Fall Guys clone ‘Stumble Guys’ is coming to PlayStation

Fall Guys hit it big back in 2020 when the Takeshi’s Castle-styled battle royale game released for PlayStation and consoles. Since then, the game has gone from strength to strength, arriving on Xbox systems and amassing millions of more players through their free-to-play relaunch. Shortly following its success, ‘Stumble Guys’ arrived on mobile platforms to take advantage of Fall Guys’ popularity. Now, the clone is set to also come to consoles.

Previously announced to be launching on Xbox One and Series X|S, the free-to-play battle royale Stumble Guys has been confirmed to also be coming to PlayStation consoles. Developed by ‘Scopely’ one needs to look at but a single screenshot to know exactly where the game takes its inspirations from – the similarly named Fall Guys.

For the uninitiated, Stumble Guys is actually a massive game on mobile platforms, with the Fall Guys clone having been downloaded over 250 million times across both iOS and Android. Additionally, its popularity has led to the game receiving a bunch of crossover content with popular media IPs including Rabbids, Barbie and even Mr Beast.

Many mobile games are known for capitalising on popular console games, but it is curious to see this title actually end up also coming to consoles. It will be interesting to see how this all pans out upon its arrival.
