Starfield patch brings FOV slider and stability improvements for Intel Arc GPUs

Starfield has been out for a little over a month now. Bethesda has already released a couple of patches to target bugs. Now, we have our first of several promised game improvements, with the latest patch adding a FOV slider. 

You could always adjust the Field of View in Starfield on PC, but in order to change the value, you did have to edit a .ini file. Now with the latest update, there is now an FOV slider in the options menu in-game, allowing you to adjust the field of view on the fly. Better yet, FOV adjustment is now available on both PC and Xbox.

Field of View adjustment is important for any first-person game, as it can aid with conditions like motion sickness. It is also helpful for those playing on different display sizes at various distances, allowing more details to be shown on screen.

Patch 1.7.36 for Starfield also introduces new optimisations to improve the game's stability on Intel Arc GPUs, amongst other undisclosed performance improvements. This update also fixes a progression-blocking bug in the quest Echoes of the Past, so if you've been struggling with that one, you should now be able to complete it.
