Thermaltake is continuing to push its Luxa 2 audio division, with the release of a new portable speaker called the GroovyT Magic Boom Box. It's a small form factor, mobile audio device that breaks the chain of cables and wireless connectivity, by requiring none of that to amplify your smartphone's music playing abilities.
All you have to do with the Luxa2, is place your smartphone on top of the speaker and its angular, vibration amplication will boost whatever audio you're playing to much more impressive levels. [yframe url='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVQOgmOPFQc']
The Luxa2 is available in two colour options, red and black and has enough battery life for up to five and a half hours of play time. No doubt the fact that it doesn't require bluetooth or Wi-Fi connectivity keeps it from draining too fast. It does however still take a few hours to fully recharge.
KitGuru Says: Quite an interesting take on the mobile speaker. There's a lot of them out there now and it's difficult to stand out, but maybe this one's lack of cabling or traditional wireless connectivity will help it break free from the pack?
