Capcom’s TGS showcase to feature Dragon’s Dogma 2

Tokyo Game Show is a staple of the industry, with primarily Japanese developers taking to the event to reveal new games, offer updates on existing titles and more. Capcom has slowly but surely been teasing its TGS line-up, now revealing that its online showcase will include new details on the much-anticipated Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official Capcom page said “Join us next Thursday for our #TGS2023 Capcom Online Program, Sep. 21 3pm BST / 4pm CEST! Get ready for:

  • Dragon’s Dogma 2
  • Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways & VR Mode
  • Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy
  • Street Fighter 6
  • Exoprimal”

Capcom’s Online Program was previously already announced, however the line-up of games revealed at the time was much smaller. This marks confirmation that we will be seeing the much-anticipated action RPG Dragon’s Dogma 2 at the showcase – a big deal considering many of the other games listed are already out and available to play.

Of course, it is entirely possible that we will get a few extra surprises, with some even hoping that the next Monster Hunter game might be shown off – though expectations should be kept in check in that regard.

Even without any surprise announcement, it will be exciting to see more from Dragon’s Dogma 2. Hopefully we get a release date, or at least a launch window.
