Indie studio, Eden Industries, went to Kickstarter to fund its retro RPG, Citizens of Earth but only came out with a third of the necessary funds to create the game, which seemingly doomed the project until publisher, Atlus, swooped in to save the day.
Atlus, which has published titles like Persona 4, Demon Souls and Shin Megami Tensei has bought the rights to publish the game and will now fund its development. Citizens of Earth will release in Europe and North America as a downloadable title for the 3DS, Playstation 4, Playstation Vita, Wii U and PC.

The game will see players taking on the role of Vice President of the World but the day after you take office, the world goes crazy and its up to you to recruit people to help figure out what happened and fix it while delegating “as much of the dirty work as possible.”
KitGuru Says: The game sounds like it could be quite fun, especially if it throws in some humorous dialogue. It seems like it would be a good fit for handheld gamers. That said, Retro style games aren't for everyone so we want to know, what do you guys think?
