Microsoft reveals next batch of Game Pass titles – no Activision games included

Over the last week, there have been rumours that we would start to see the first Activision games hitting Game Pass this month now that the deal has closed. Unfortunately, this week's Game Pass update isn't quite that exciting, but there are some good games included.

There are no Activision Blizzard titles joining Game Pass this week. However, Microsoft is bringing Cities Skylines II over on PC, the highly anticipated sequel to one of the best city-building sims on the market. Additionally, Game Pass Ultimate members will now be able to install the Dead Space Remake in full.

Here's the full list of games hitting Game Pass over the next couple of weeks, including dates and supported platforms:

  • Like A Dragon: Ishin! (Cloud, Console and PC) – Available today
  • F1 Manager 2023 (Cloud, Console and PC) – October 19th
  • Cities: Skylines 2 (PC) – October 24th
  • Dead Space Remake (Cloud, PC and Xbox Series X/S) – October 26th via EA Play (included with Game Pass Ultimate)
  • Frog Detective: The Entire Mystery (Cloud and Console) – October 26th
  • Mineko's Night Market (Cloud, Console and PC) – October 26th
  • Headbangers: Rythm Royale (Cloud, Console and PC) – October 31st
  • Jusant (Cloud, Console and PC) – October 31st

If you need some anime in your life, then Game Pass Ultimate members can claim 75 days of Crunchyroll until the 20th of October. Additionally, the Game Pass Ultimate Perks selection has also been updated with a new Celebration Pack for Smite.

Unfortunately, there will be a few games leaving the service at the end of this month. On the 31st of October, we'll see Gunfire Reborn, Kill It With Fire, Persona 5 Royal, Signalis and Solasta Crown of the Magister leaving Game Pass.

KitGuru Says: While we were quick to see Bethesda games join Game Pass after the acquisition, it looks like the rollout of Activision titles will indeed be slower.
